In line with national standards set by the Welsh Government (March 2019), Bryngwyn Surgery is committed to improving access to general practice and delivering high-quality, responsive care for our patients.
We are working to meet and maintain the following national access standards:
We aim to answer calls quickly and avoid the need for you to call back multiple times. Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:30pm.
Our phone system has call queuing and call-back features to help manage demand and keep your waiting time to a minimum. We regularly monitor how we handle calls to make improvements where needed.
When contacting the surgery, you will hear both English and Welsh options for key service information, including out-of-hours and emergency advice.
You can find up-to-date information on our website, including how to access self-care, community pharmacies, NHS 111 Wales, and other local services.
We work with other NHS teams to make sure your care is well-coordinated and based on your individual needs β whether you see a GP, nurse, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional.
We offer multiple contact options:
Telephone
In-person (from 8:30am onwards)
Online via our website
Email (for non-urgent enquiries)
Patients are welcome to send non-urgent requests or admin queries via email. A member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within 2 working days.
We regularly review patient feedback, appointment trends, and demand to help us improve our service and plan for busy times. This helps us make sure resources are available when you need them most.
