Bryngwyn Surgery now has a dedicated prescribing team led by our Pharmacist.
Due to a change in guidelines we will now issue your prescription on a 56 day cycle. We are working through prescriptions and yours will be updated by your next medication review.
A computer system is used for repeat prescriptions. No prescriptions are accepted over the telephone to avoid telephone lines becoming blocked for emergency calls. We no longer use a fax machine but we will accept an email request for prescription providing all the information is included. You can email our dedicated prescription team on email@example.com
To request your prescription at the surgery please use the right hand paper of the prescription (counterfoil) to request the repeat prescriptions and post it in the dedicated post box in main reception. If a self-addressed stamped envelope is attached the prescription will be posted to you. Otherwise it will be ready to be collected after 72 hours at the reception desk or the Pharmacy of your choice.
If you are registered with My Health On-Line you will be able to request repeat prescriptions over the internet. For more information, please contact our reception staff.
We can provide a repeat dispensing prescription authorising a number of repeat dispensing issue forms. If you are interested in this service, please ask for more information.
